Music at Dingley

City of London Chamber OrchestraWe have recently formed a group of supporters, the Friends of Music at Dingley. Our audiences are invited to subscribe to be a Friend for a modest annual fee (payable on 1st January) of £25 per person or £35 per couple (two people living at the same address).

Friends receive discounted tickets, our regular promotional mailings, enjoy priority booking for all events and preferred seating where possible. Friends are also invited to a special Friends-only event. In 2009 we heard from percussionist Marney O'Sullivan, the following year from opera understudy Naomi Harvey and last year Professor John Morehen talked about his life in music. All three of these events sold out so this is definitely a regular feature in our calendar.

The next Friends only event is Sunday 14th October with Richard Eteson whose life as a musician began at the age of 7 when he became a chorister at Kings College Cambridge. He returned to Cambridge as a choral scholar and appeared on a number of the choirs's recordings as a tenor soloist. Since leaving Cambridge, Richard has sung with prestigious groups all over the world at venues including the Sydney Opera House, La Scala and the Concertgebouw. Between 2010 and 2011 he was a member of the Swingle Singers.

We will write to Friends in August or so with an invitation to this event - which is not bookable through De Montfort Hall.

If you wish to become a Friend please send a cheque (made payable to Music at Dingley) for £25 per person or £35 per couple to :
