These recitals were held in All Saints Church, Dingley.

Paul Lewis is one of the most sought after artists of his generation, appearing regularly at the world’s major musical venues and festivals - in fact he played for the Last Night of the Proms two days before coming to Dingley. His Schubert Piano Sonata Series presented at venues throughout the UK, including the Wigmore Hall, was hailed by the public and critics alike, and won him both the 2003 South Bank Show Classical Music Award, and the 2003 Royal Philharmonic Society’s Instrumentalist of the Year award. Following on from the success of this Schubert Sonata series Paul Lewis performed the complete cycle of the Beethoven Piano Sonatas at venues across Europe and the US (including Dingley!) during the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons and the critics could not have been more enthusiastic.

We are plotting to have him return to perform the Winterreise

Paul Lewis' recordings for Harmonia Mundi include two Schubert CDs, and Harmonia have now released the full set of the Beethoven Sonatas.
