Dingley is a small village near Market Harborough in Leicestershire and Music at Dingley has been providing high quality programmes of music there for over 25 years.
A wide spectrum of artists, including Alfred Brendel, Gerald Finley, Bernard Roberts, Julius Drake, Louise Winter, Paul Lewis, Llyr Williams and many others have made music in our very special environment of Dingley Hall.
If this were not enough, orchestras and ensembles such as the City of London Chamber Orchestra, The Allegri String Quartet, the Kungsbacka Trio, and the Vasari Singers have added to Music at Dingley's high standing.
We offer performing opportunities to outstanding musicians on the threshold of their careers, for example Elizabeth Watts and Adam Walker. We are pleased that Paul Lewis continues to include Dingley in his prestige concert tours with his series of Schubert and Beethoven Sonata recitals.
Concerts are held throughout the year in the very intimate Porch House of Dingley Hall or the delightful Norman Church set in the peaceful grounds of the Hall, with meals being served in the Porch House. We are very grateful to the Dingley Parochial Church Council and the residents of Dingley Hall for their support and co-operation.
We are told by those who should know that Music at Dingley is the jewel in the crown of the musical activity of Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and the surrounding area. We look forward to welcoming you to Dingley soon.
